Kelly O’Bryan da Mota is the founder of Landman Fridays and of Cimmaron Land, a full-service land services company, with a focus on the Appalachian Basin. Kelly is a licensed Texas attorney with a J.D. from the University of Texas and an LL.M. in international corporate law from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. She is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese and has extensive title experience in plays all over the U.S., including the Appalachian Basin, the Permian Basin, the Eagle Ford Basin, the Scoop/Stack, the Niobrara Basin, and the Powder River Basin. Kelly has served as the Director of Social Media Communications for the Women’s Energy Network of Greater Pittsburgh and as Secretary of the Board of Trustees for the Bridgeville Public Library. She participated in the Institute for Energy Law’s (IEL) inaugural leadership class and served as the co-chair of the communications & social media subcommittee for its Young Energy Professionals (YEP) group. She is active within the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL), and the Michael Late Benedum Chapter (MLBC) of the AAPL. She is a passionate supporter of women in energy and women in business. Kelly enjoys reading, traveling, practicing meditation, yoga and Pilates, and spending time with her family. Her husband, Zezinho is the VP and COO of Cimmaron Land. They also have a 6 year-old daughter, Helen, and a toy poodle, Farofino.
